🎉🌟 Hats off to District 1 School Board Member, Dr. Steve Gallon III, for shining a spotlight on the hidden gems within our schools! 🙏💎 our superstar of the Great Scott Lake Elementary - 5th Grade Dexter Morgan! 🏈📚 A powerhouse on the football field and a scholarly student in the classroom, Dexter embodies excellence and raises the bar for his peers. 🔥 He conquered last year’s State Assessment with level 5 scores in both reading and math PM3, and securing his spot on the superior honor roll every nine weeks. 🏆 Congratulations also goes to his parents for molding this young king into a realm of sheer greatness! 👏💫 🙌

Are you ready to show your school spirit and join the Scott Elementary School Cheerleading Team? We're looking for enthusiastic and talented individuals in grades 3-5 to become part of our team. Please review the following requirements and make sure to mark your calendar for the tryout date:

**Tryout Date:** Wednesday, September 13, 2023
**Tryout Time:** 2:30 PM
**Location:** Scott Elementary School Gymnasium
