Mater Academy at Mount Sinai is a high performing, public charter schools.
Mater Academy at Mount Sinai offers a technology-rich environment, with computers in every classroom, Promethean Interactive white boards, and document cameras. We offer a challenging curriculum, with additional educational resources such as Success Maker, Achieve 3000 and Accelerated Reader. The school also offers a before school care program beginning at 6:30 am, a breakfast and lunch program, and an after school care enrichment program that runs until 6:00pm.

Miami-Dade County Public Schools (M-DCPS) has been made aware of a general social media threat involving schools across the country on Friday, December 17, 2021. The Miami-Dade Schools Police Department is carefully monitoring this matter. In an abundance of caution, there will be additional police presence and schools will remain vigilant throughout the day on Friday. As always, we urge anyone with information that could impact the safety of our schools to immediately contact 305-995-COPS. @ Mater Academy Mount Sinai

This is just a friendly reminder that this Friday, September 3rd is our first Early Release Day. All students are to be picked up at 12:00pm in the dismissal car line. Only Mount Sinai Medical Employees may pick up at the gate, but please be reminded that those students will be dismissed once the car line has ended. Additionally, since all students are released at the same time, Mini Care is not available. However, we will have After Care for those students registered in the August After Care Program only. As previously mentioned, Daily Passes are not available.
