Eating food free of GMO, hormones and all other chemical laden foods is a challenge. I studied nutrition for years and what I learned was shocking. Since then, I’ve paid attention to what I put in my body. And now I am doing the same with my skin. In the fitness industry, I sweat every day. So whatever is on my skin is absorbed into my body...
While no makeup would be the best bet, I like a tinted moisturizer with sunscreen (I live in Miami, hello)... so I did my research. And discovered Beautycounter. I tried the products (thank you ) and LOVE LOVE LOVE them. So, I received my first package of skincare and makeup. All free of ingredients (over 1,500 that the US allows) that can be harmful (cause cancer among other things). I’m so excited (also to trash all of the products that take up so much space in my bathroom). Educate yourself..
Amazing day of movement in the studio! After taking two weeks off (🙈) I was craving Pilates! I finished my 50 minute class with these two moves on the Pelvic pull up and The Cat. Two of my favorites in the chair. The Chair is very challenging. You can’t cheat here. It’s all about control! I love getting deeper into my practice. (Playing around with a video app today)

Live Ultimate 5K race in Wynwood this morning. Finished in 27:15. I didn’t really have a goal time in mind for the race. I’m always happy to run a 10 minute mile. And this was under, so I’m happy!🏅🤸🏽♀️🏃🏽♀️I want to challenge myself to run a half marathon next....

Wow, my 🍑 is feeling this today from yesterday's b***y blast! I start with both hands on the foot bar, then add intensity by releasing one hand and placing it on my knee, then both hands on my knee, ending with keeping my back leg straight and lifting and lowering my standing leg. (I'm standing on the platform extender for added height so my knee doesn't hit the Reformer as I bend and straighten my leg) ***yblaster

Fast and healthy lunch today. Toasted sprouted flax bread topped with avocado, bruschetta and goat cheese crumbles. Tastes like pizza!
