MBSH PTSA serves as the public high school for Miami Beach, Surfside, Bay Harbor, Bal Harbour and North Bay Village. We advocate for ALL children.

Founded in 1935 as the Typhoons, later renamed the Hi-Tides. MBSH PTSA benefits everyone. Strong schools mean stronger communities. PTSA membership is open to anyone who wants to be involved and make a difference for the education, health, and welfare of children and youth. Getting involved in PTSA is the best way to utilize parent involvement. More than 85 rigorous res

earch studies conducted over 30 years show that kids do better when parents are involved. Grades are higher. Test scores improve. Attendance increases. The PTSA's involvement and support of the school has become more and more important in these difficult economic times. Administrators and teachers are being asked to do much more with less.
