Weight loss reminders:
β You don't need to eliminate carbs >> weight loss has everything to do with calories, carbs are high calorie, so if you cut them, you will lose weight, but it's not neccessary. It's about the calories, not the carbs
β Losing as little as 1lb per week is awesome progress >> slow and steady wins the race
β Rely on the way you look and feel, not just the scales >> the number on the scale means nothing if you aren't pleased with the way you look and feel
β Your metabolism is not broken! >> if you aren't doing your 8-10k steps per day, weight training and tracking your nutrition, don't blame your metabolism

Are you a Monday hater? You aren't alone!
Here's a few tips to try to make them a little more bearable:
1οΈβ£ Don't burn yourself out at the weekend. Partying is fun but nights in and relaxation is also important!
2οΈβ£ Make weekday plans, don't just live for the weekend!
3οΈβ£ Keep your routine. Yes, sleep a little later but don't mess up your routine so much that you end up unable to sleep on Sunday night and feeling rough for the week to come
4οΈβ£ Exercise! It will release endorphins which trigger positive feelings
We hope this helps πͺ

1) Don't try and change everything at once! Try too much and the chances are you will quit early. Make small changes and once you're consistent, add more
2) Don't set due dates for your goals! Focus on effort and consistency
3) You will make mistakes! See it as a lesson, not a failure
4) Motivation is fickle, you have to build up that consistency. Take action and be consistent for a decent amount of time to see results and you will find motivation comes easier.

Top 5 mistakes people make when they're trying to lose weight
1) Focussing on carbs instead of calories
Eliminating carbs put you in a deficit but it won't stop you gaining weight if you're consuming the calories elsewhere
2) Focussing on cardio instead of lifting
If your goal is to maximise fat loss then lifting should be the focus
3) Focusing on perfection instead of consistency
Expect perfection and you will set yourself up for failure, be consistent, do right most of the time and you're onto a winner
4) Focusing on motivation, instead of momentum
When you have momentum, it's a lot easier to take action regardless of whether you're feeling motivated
5) Focusing on the end goal instead of small wins
Have an end goal but make sure you pat yourself on the back for the small wins
