You went above and beyond to make sure every detail was perfect, and we are so grateful for your hard work. 💙

And to my amazing Ady & Co. staff — my family and friends — who show up for me time and time again with love, patience, and heart… thank you. You give your all to help me bring this vision to life, from setup to breakdown, and I couldn’t do any of it without you. 💕

A much needed mini break was had. Easily over 75k steps in 3 days. Ady was brave and rode everything and she loved it. She remembered a few things but not so much since it had been about 5-6 years since we’ve been to Disney parks. Now it’s go go go time for the Little Artisan Market.

A Journey Through the Nervous System - Our homeschool educational resources offer a unique parent-and-child class designed to strengthen connection through co-regulation. Together, families learn how the nervous system works and how one person’s state can influence the other.

Parents and children practice communicating without shame, realizing that both sometimes struggle with big feelings. This natural transparency builds resilience and deepens relationships through mutual understanding. One powerful skill are highlighting in today’s class is learning to observe without absorbing others’ emotions—an essential tool for healthy connections that will carry families far.

Beyond class, we each chip in to make lunch and share a meal together—creating a warm, nonjudgmental space where parents and children enjoy each other’s company, building friendships as well as skills.

📍 A Journey Through The Nervous System Classes begin in Doral – January 2026
✅ Reimbursable by Step-Up for Homeschool Families

📩 DM us to learn how to bring these resources to your co-ops, pods, or micro schools. Together, we grow and learn from one another. 🌱

Little fact about me…

I was named after Mariel Hemingway (yes, Ernest Hemingway’s granddaughter!).

Originally, my parents planned to name me Christina, but when my cousin was born just 3 weeks earlier with that name (different spelling), they had to pivot. While in the hospital, a Noxzema commercial with Mariel Hemingway aired, and the name stuck.

Later, my parents discovered there’s a port in Cuba called Mariel—and just 6 months after I was born, the Mariel boatlift happened. 🌊

My grandparents each individually chartered boats to rescue relatives during the exodus. They ended up running into each other at the port. Luckily everyone got back safely with their relatives. It took a lot of strength, guts to hit the open sea, and enter dangerous territory. So much was unknown yet they didn’t question finding a way to get there and find their family. They’ve lived to tell the tale of their unwavering determination to rescue their family. 🛶💙

So my name carries layers of history, family, and resilience—something I’ll always hold close. Last time I was this far in the keys I was 4. It was nice to come back and take it all in.

Yesterday we celebrated my parent’s 51st wedding anniversary. Grateful for their presence, love, support and wish them health and continued love to make lots of memories in their new chapter in a new city. Thankful it’s not too far away and we can still stay as connected as we’ve always been. The celebration continues now we’re on island time for the week to disconnect. Doral classes resume on 9/30.

It’s a mermaid life for me. Collecting seashells on the seashore is where I like to be. Never enough sunsets and sunrises or seashells collected. My collection is extensive and well organized. One day I will begin to create art with all these shells. Also for my gluten free peeps the best gluten free (non cauliflower crust) pizza you’ll find in Naples.

How Ady & Co. started vs today. Reflecting back as I head into 46 years in a few days. Time flies right by and I am blessed and grateful to have had the opportunity to be with Ady every moment as we journey through homeschooling together and continuing to grow our business. Those of you who know me know the journey through IVF was not easy but it sure was worth it. Working from home while homeschooling being mom, teacher, cafeteria lady, wife, creating curriculum for my students, finding ways to expand Ady & Co., plus holding my clients hands through SSP Safe & Sound Protocol to help reset their nervous system, helping my Real Estate clients who follow and support me into all my journey’s and studying for an exam myself evolving while I learn as well is a big task. Wouldn’t have it any other way. I always think of Linda and how proud she’d be of the son she left behind who gives us his unconditional love and support not just for us but also for my parents. My parents love and support has been constant and I am forever grateful. Thankful for my family and friends who’ve supported me along the way. Who push me to continue to evolve and believe in me and support my every journey. I am grateful everyday.
