Since I started bodybuilding 10 years ago, food is always been a struggle for me.โฃ

Initially, I was super restrictive to make sure Iโd get shredded.โฃ

The online advice was to eat simple & boring foods such as chicken & rice.โฃ

Shortly after getting shredded, Iโd replicate a YouTube 10-20k calories challenge.โฃ

Of course, I'd soon start fo feel skinny and decide to bulk... โฃ

Increasing food upwards to 6000 calories a day. โฃ

6000 calories of clean foods ONLY. โฃ
โฃ
Shoulders hurting from all those containers full of pounds of rice, chicken & broccoli.โฃ
โฃ
Hard to say if the meals I was eating or if the winter in London was colder at the time.โฃ
โฃ
When food was too much to get in and I needed motivational eating videos...I decided to compete. โฃ
โฃ
Starved myself for months to only develop binge eating and weigh 50lbs more 3 months later.โฃ

The struggle over the years is been real.โฃ

But I have learned how to best manage it to get the right balance.โฃ

You just need to choose your priorities and balance things out.โฃ

I do love food, I just prioritize my wellbeing and who I am in life. โฃ

Once you find out what works for you, and the right nutrition, you can do both.โฃ

๐ My brother transformed our attic into a mini-gym, complete with benches, barbells & dumbbells, and a few mirrors to strike a pose in front of. โฃโฃ

You know those dumbbells filled with sand or water? Yep, that was my jam. ๐โฃโฃ

๐ช Back then, I was all about those bicep curls and ab workouts โ no shame! LOL โฃโฃ

Looking back, it's hilarious to see how I've put on nearly 100 pounds and still consider myself "skinny." ๐โฃโฃ

A wave of anxiety crashed over me, leaving me breathless.โฃโฃ

I questioned if my business would thrive or crumble into failure.โฃโฃ

The positive is that I have learned to control my own thoughts and mind.โฃ

Sweet Potatoes will be a high-volume food so for 100g you get way fewer calories than 100g rice for example.โฃ

Rice Cakes are the perfect snack, only 30 calories each and you can combine them with everything.โฃ

Veggies are only around 50 calories per 100g (green ones) they have fibers as well so they are amazing for satiety.โฃ

When it comes to proteins, white fish has really low calories, the same as chicken.โฃ

Beef provides you with loads of nutrients such as iron & vitamins B.โฃ

Yogurt is amazing for the volume it has, perfect to create a nice dessert with protein powder, some almond butter and maybe some frozen berries.โฃ

In terms of fats, we got the most nutritious ones; avocado, almond butter, and dark chocolate to keep your cravings under control.โฃ

Test and see which ones work best for you and stick to those :)โฃ
