Get your family ready for the new school year at the Audrain County Health Department's Back-to-School Health Fair!

Visit our website at mexicoschools.net/schoolsupplies or shop electronically and add supplies directly to your cart by looking up your school on teacherlists.com.

TEACHERLISTS. Mexico Public Schools has partnered with TeacherLists to provide ease in selecting school supplies. You may locate your child’s supply list on TeacherLists. Click to buy all the supplies, which will be added to your cart and shipped to you by the retailer of your choice: Walmart, Amazon, Target, Office Depot, Staples, Walgreens, or EPI school supplies. Search for your child's building by using our zip code and choosing the building.

BACK TO SCHOOL HEALTH FAIR. The annual back-to-school health fair will be held on August 1, and school supplies will be available for families. Visit the United Methodist Church from 8 AM - noon. SALES TAX HOLIDAY. The Missouri back-to-school sales tax holiday weekend begins at 12:01 AM on Friday, August 7 and runs through midnight on Sunday, August 9. Certain back-to-school purchases, such as clothing, school supplies, computers, and other items as defined by statute, are exempt from all state and local sales or use taxes for this time period only. A big thank you to Ms. Janice for bringing Sparkle to visit our bulldogs! Sparkle wowed everyone with her amazing tricks while helping teach important lessons about dog safety. Students also enjoyed learning fun facts about the United States and discovered that America is celebrating its 250th birthday this year!

This will be a fun outdoor event filled with bubbles and lots of foam!

Get ready for a day of foamy fun!

Please send the following items with your child:

Swimsuit

* To wear under clothes or bring to change into.

Hawthorne Elementary summer school students enjoyed a fun-filled trip to the park yesterday! They spent the day playing on the playground, creating colorful chalk art, and making wonderful memories with their classmates. A special thank you to United Credit Union for generously grilling lunch and providing drinks and sides for our students. We are grateful for their support in helping make this such a wonderful day for everyone involved! ☀️🛝

Reminder for tomorrow: Don’t forget to wear your favorite sunglasses as we celebrate Wear Your Sunglasses Day! We are scheduled to go on a field trip to Lakeview Park, so please wear tennis shoes so everyone can run, play, and explore safely.
