Since we moved into our new school in early 2026, we have been working diligently to create an amazing education garden for everyone, behind our Learning Commons library.

What's next? More plants! More trees! Bird feeders! Water feature! The kids will be using the garden space and will be able to help with day to day activities.

We welcome donations of tools, plants, bulbs, decor and other cool things for our garden. We obviously cannot take just anything (example: we don't need 30 hoses), but we would love to hear from you to see what you have! Please, please please, do not just drop anything off at the school. You must contact and discuss this with a committee member first.

We also are in need of volunteers. A few staff cannot do this alone and we appreciate everyone who has helped us so far. If you want to donate plants, please also consider donating the time to plant them. We have a master plan and can direct you as to where to put them.

The thing we are MOST excited about is our outdoor classroom learning circle. This image is just a rendering of what we envision, but we are hoping to get this in soon!

Are you an expert at doing things like this? We would love volunteers to help us get it done!

By the time the students arrived back this week, many of our plants were in full bloom! Everyone noticed the garden, the flowers, the new weeping cherry tree and the COLORS!

We also got plant donations from community members and staff. We got those in the ground too! Everyone loves free plants!

We hosted two volunteer days over the summer, and worked with staff and students from the MVCS summer program. WE moved dirt from Meroby, assembled our raised beds, transplanted plants among lots of other things! We also got a generous donation of FREE veggie plants from Lloyd's Greenhouse. Thank you!
