ICYMI: Missouri Military Academy received a $2,600 Korean Language Program Grant to support its new Korean I course for the 2026-27 academic year.

Learning another language helps cadets build communication skills, understand different cultures and prepare for opportunities in an increasingly connected world. With cadets from around the globe, MMA values language learning as an important part of its global community.

The grant will provide additional learning resources and cultural experiences, helping cadets expand their knowledge of Korean language and culture both inside and outside the classroom. Learn more on our website!

Missouri Military Academy is the only school in Missouri to receive a Korean Language Program Grant for the 2026-27 academic year. The $2,600 grant supports MMA’s new Korean I course, helping provide language resources and cultural experiences that extend learning outside the classroom.

From Commandant Baer: What a a great day for the 138th Missouri Military Academy Corps of Cadets. While all cadets were challenged and some had their doubts they would make it, I am happy to say every new cadet made it and passed the Crucible. The Crucible is a whole of academy effort with staff, faculty and cadets working together to make this such a meaningful experience for our new cadets. Our new cadets showed amazing motivation, perseverance and exceptional teamwork, helping their fellow cadets through this challenging experience. Our old cadets led from the front motivating our new cadets throughout the entire Crucible. Today is an example of the best of MMA!
