As we continue our Cadet Leader Spotlight series, we're recognizing the outstanding young men who will help lead the MMA Corps of Cadets during the 2026-27 school year.
Through determination, accountability, and a commitment to excellence, Xaivier Perdigon '28 has earned the role of Band Company First Sergeant. Since joining MMA in 2026, he has embraced leadership opportunities through wrestling, track, Academy Band, and Marching Band while challenging himself and those around him to reach a higher standard.
Perdigon plans to attend the U.S. Military Academy at West Point before serving as an Army officer and pursuing a career in finance. He believes effective leadership begins with communication, discipline, and leading by example, encouraging fellow cadets to embrace challenges, learn from failure, and never lose sight of their goals.

Good luck to the MMA soccer team as they take the field for the soccer pre-season jamboree today, Thursday, August 20, at Helias High School in Jefferson City. The Colonels' first match-up is at 5:45 against Southern Boone.

Come see the MMA Corps of Cadets at the Mexico Jaycees Soybean Festival Mexico MO parade on Aug. 22!

MMA cadets will march in this annual parade in Mexico, Missouri, this Saturday. The parade begins at 10:00 a.m. at Mexico High School and travels through downtown Mexico.

Following the parade, cadets will have two hours to enjoy festival activities in the downtown square. Cadets are not permitted to leave the square, but MMA families are welcome to join their cadet and enjoy the festival.

Day Cadet Reminder: Report to your barracks at MMA by 8:00 a.m. on Saturday. Day cadets will return to campus with the corps following the festival for family pickup.

As we continue our Cadet Leader Spotlight series, we're recognizing the outstanding young men who will help lead the MMA Corps of Cadets during the 2026-27 school year.
Through hard work, discipline, and a commitment to continuous improvement, Enkhtenger Altangerel '27 has earned the role of Cadet Adjutant (S-1). Since joining MMA in 2025, he has excelled in swimming, rifle team, Army JROTC Raiders, FBLA, Delta Phi Honor Society, National Honor Society, Marching Band, and Color Guard while embracing the Academy's high standards.
Altangerel believes that hard work always pays off and that empathy is one of the most important qualities of a leader. As Cadet Adjutant, he is committed to serving the Corps with professionalism, respect, and a focus on helping those around him succeed.

The fall semester has started, but it’s not too late to join us.

As an MMA parent, you know firsthand the difference that structure, accountability, personal responsibilty, brotherhood and a strong academic environment can make in a young man’s life.

If someone comes to mind, introduce his family to MMA through our Parent Referral Program. When a new boarding cadet you refer enrolls, you may be eligible to receive a referral reward. Inquire for details.

Today, Missouri Military Academy held the first All-Academy Assembly of the school year, marking an important moment for our newest cadets.

During the New Cadet Resolution Ceremony, led by cadet leaders, new cadets took the New Cadet Oath and committed themselves to the values that will guide their MMA experience: honesty and integrity, excellence, respect, strength of character and responsibility.

The ceremony is an MMA tradition that recognizes and celebrates the arrival of all new cadets as they begin their journey at the Academy. Currently completing Maroon Phase training, these cadets are learning the standards, routines and responsibilities of cadet life while building the foundation for their growth as leaders and young men of character.
