Packs of Kindness Packs of Kindness is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that provides easy-to-prepare/ready-to-eat food for children in need in Mexia

Packs of Kindness is a community-wide organization that since 2012 provides food for children in Mexia who do not have enough to eat on weekends. Each pack is filled with two breakfast items, two entrées, two fruit items and two snacks. Students at Mexia Head Start, McBay Elementary, Sims Intermediate, Mexia Jr. High, and Mexia High School, who have been identified by school administrators as bein

g in need, receive a Packs of Kindness bag of ready to eat/easy to prepare food at the end of each school week.

We didn’t get pictures of the group from Springfield Lodge #74 AF&AM, but they certainly made quick work of filling 144 Packs of Kindness weekend meal packs this week. They got it done in 30 minutes!! Thank you so much for your ongoing support.

Our first delivery of weekend meal packs goes out to the schools THIS WEEK. We are grateful for CASA of Freestone and Limestone Counties and their ongoing support of Packs of Kindness. Children in need at all campuses of Mexia ISD and Head Start will receive one of these packs for the weekend each week during the school year. ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜
