Moss School PTO

We held our last book swap of the school year yesterday! All of our Moss friends received 3 books to take home and enjoy for the summer!

Special thanks to the parent crew that helped us yesterday, and throughout this entire year!

By our estimates we've given out over 3,600 books to students this year! We are already in the planning stages for next year and can't wait to see everyone back for swap!

It was so great seeing all boomerang and rising 1st grade families tonight! We are nearly sold out of every shirt design!! We will aim to have more shirts for Open House, stay tuned! Have a great summer and make sure to follow this page for all PTO updates! 💙

REMINDER! Our last Book Swap of the school year will occur this Thursday June 11th! 📚😭

Tonight’s PTO meeting will be in Room 110 - Ms. Herold’s classroom on the first floor instead of the Library. Please enter through the front doors and go down the stairs and turn left and then right down the hallway. Thank you!

REMINDER: The June PTO meeting will be this Monday, June 1st at 7pm in the Moss Library. We will be discussing end of year and welcoming a new board member!

Local mama, teacher, and artist Julia Win (JVW Creates) led an art activity today for Ms. Dereskeviciute and Ms. Valovcin's classes which means that's a wrap for collecting bottle caps and lids!! She definitely encourages you to still recycle and find ways to reuse in your homes but Mrs. Win's collection is full!

She will start working on the courtyard mural in the coming weeks! We'll post any updates we can but it will definitely be done by September 😉🤪

It was a great day for the book swap!! Every Moss student received 3 books this month! As always, we appreciate our parent volunteers for helping us run this event.

We wanted to also take a minute to shout out the Metuchen American Legion Auxiliary Unit 65 for collecting books for us! Their donations made so many children so happy this month!

And SURPRISE! Due to all the extra school days added to the calendar, we're having ONE MORE SWAP this year!!! We'll see you June 11th for our final swap of the 25'-26' school year!
