Thanks to his guidance, I was accepted into William Paterson, which would shape my entire career. Together, we explored the music of guitar legends like Allan Holdsworth, Steve Howe, and Steve Morse, often transcribing their solos—a practice Aaron encouraged and one that deeply informed my approach to guitar.

I credit Aaron with much of my success as a professional guitarist, teacher, and Broadway musician. The foundation I received from Aaron helped hone the skills I needed to become a versatile player, able to jump into performance opportunities with artists like Stevie Wonder, Dolly Parton, and Gloria Gaynor. Even now, more than 30 years later, I still seek Aaron’s advice and insights on music.
