MES Literacy Nights Under the Lights! 📚💡📖

Just a few of the fun moments we were able to capture at MES Literacy Under the Lights!
It was an evening filled with literacy activities, games, family engagement, and lots of fun as our students and families came together to celebrate the joy of reading! ❤️

🐯📚 SHOW UP. BE ON TIME. EARN A REWARD! 📚🐯

At MHS and MCCA, attendance matters! Students have the opportunity to earn a Tiger Tea Ticket 🥤 or an Attendance Matters Card 🎟️ from Communities in Schools (CIS) each week!

To qualify, students must:
✅ Be in every class Monday through Friday
✅ Have NO tardies
✅ Have NO early checkouts

Each Friday, students complete a survey about their attendance and, if they qualify, choose which reward they would like to receive. During the following week, students can pick the day they want to redeem their reward—either a Tiger Tea in the cafeteria or an Attendance Matters reward with CIS during Tiger Time.

Every class. Every day. On time. 💪🐯

We are grateful to Metter High School for inviting Communities In Schools (CIS) to be a part of their 9th Grade Motivational Speaker event featuring Yovonne Harvey Williams 🎓✨
It was an inspiring opportunity to connect with our youth and encourage them to believe in themselves, recognize their potential, and stay focused on their goals!
Thank you, Metter High School, for allowing CIS to be part of such a meaningful experience. We look forward to continuing to support, encourage, and empower our students as they work toward success 💙📚✨
