Ms. Hernandez was recognized for going above and beyond by spending hours working on our NEW Aries House Chant video! Her dedication, creativity, and willingness to put in the extra time to make it special truly represent what it means to be a House member.

Today, Metter Middle School students are focusing on simple ways to show respect, kindness, and hospitality every day. 🧡🖤

👋 #32 — Know all teachers and greet them by name.
A friendly greeting shows respect and helps build strong relationships throughout our school.

😊 #33 — Greet visitors and make them feel welcome.
When someone visits MMS, we want them to see the kindness and Tiger Pride that make our school special.

🚪 #34 — Hold the door for people rather than letting it close on them.
Small acts of courtesy can make a big difference!

🍎 Good nutrition fuels great learning! 🥦

Our K-8 Complex Nutrition Team always does an amazing job providing our students with meals that not only taste good, but look great on the tray, too! Just look at this meal! 👏🐯

School nutrition plays an important role in a student’s day. A balanced meal provides the energy and nutrients students need to stay focused in the classroom, maintain their energy throughout the day, support healthy growth and development, and be ready to learn.

Our K8 School Nutrition staff works hard behind the scenes each day to prepare and serve meals to over 1,500 students. From planning and preparation to making sure those trays are ready when students come through the line, they are an important part of helping our Tigers have successful school days.

A great school day starts with students who are fueled, focused, and ready to learn! 🍎🥛🥕💪

Today, Metter Middle School students are continuing to work on our Winning 50 expectations by focusing on courtesy and consideration for others. 🧡🖤

🙏 #29 — When asking for something, say “please.”
Good manners show respect and help create a positive school environment.

💛 #30 — Always say “thank you” when someone helps you or gives you something.
A simple “thank you” goes a long way and shows appreciation.

🤧 #31 — Turn away and cover your coughs and sneezes.
Being mindful of others also means helping keep our school community healthy.

Small habits can make a big difference. Kindness, gratitude, and consideration are all part of a winning mindset!

A big MMS shoutout to 6th grader Taiten Thurman from House Trident! 🌊 Taiten was recognized for showing kindness by offering his sandwich to someone who was hungry. 🥪❤️

Taiten truly demonstrated the House Trident traits of Courageous and Uplifting by thinking about someone else and choosing to help. He also put Winning 50 #38 — “Do something kind for someone every day” into action!
