Students from Mrs. Pake’s class had the chance to choose a book from our book vending machine! She drew names from the September reading logs that were returned, and these lucky readers got to pick out a brand-new book to take home. 📖💙💚

🎉 Tomorrow will be an extra fun day at school!!! For Count Day, we'll be raffling off extra special prizes every hour during school!! Students will receive one raffle ticket just for being at school tomorrow, and an extra raffle ticket if they wear their pajamas too. 🥳 The prizes are pretty cool- a couple big slime kits, a jellyfish lamp, a Minecraft bee stuffy, a CryBaby doll, a basketball, and a soccer ball! In addition to this, any classes with 100% Attendance will get an extra recess!

We had a BLAST with Fireman Dan from the Metamora FD today! Ms. Andrews, Mrs. Hoffman, Mrs. Chouinard, and Mr. Back, all brought their classes outside to learn how to use a fire extinguisher! Although he showed us the official extinguishers and explained the powder and/or foam they had in them to smother the fire, everyone got to practice with extinguishers filled with water today! Thank you so much for coming to educate us during Fire Prevention Week! 🧯🔥

🚗 IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR TRUNK HOSTS:

• Trunk setup is from 4:00–6:00 PM.
• Check in at the west-side gate by the basketball hoops before setting up.
• Trunk-or-Treat takes place from 6:00–7:00 PM.
• Please plan for more than 400 trick-or-treaters and bring candy to distribute.
• The event will be held outdoors, rain or shine, so please dress and prepare accordingly.
• Vehicles must remain in place throughout Trunk-or-Treat. An organized dismissal will begin shortly after 7:00 PM and may take approximately 15 minutes.
• Voting for the Best Trunk will take place from 6:00–7:00 PM, with trophies awarded for first, second and third place!

🍭 Look for the PTC and Bolt’s Candy Monster during the event. Donated candy will be available to help our trunk hosts keep the candy flowing so every child can leave with a full bag of treats!
