Last week, 19 SCS parishioners, ranging in age from 18 to 71, traveled to Punta Gorda, Belize for our 4th Mission Trip. Together they built a new bathroom for one of the local schools, led a Bible study with the village children, and constructed a much-needed fence for a school that had fallen into disrepair, allowing strangers to walk through campus while classes were in session.

Fr. Kevin was also able to celebrate Mass and lead a prayer service, where residents typically only have the opportunity to attend Mass once or twice a year.

Thank you Kim Navarre for leading this Mission Trip, and to Janet Marcotte for guiding this ministry. Thank you to all the generous donors who sponsored an individual to attend the mission trip. Thank you to all who generously gave their time and energy to live their faith and be witnesses of Christ’s love in this community.
