What an amazing evening at the Meisler Band Spring Concert and Awards Ceremony! 🎶🏆

Our students did an outstanding job showcasing their hard work, dedication, and talent. From the beautiful performances to celebrating the accomplishments of our band members, the night was truly special.

Thank you to Mr. Hess, families, and supporters who continue to encourage and uplift our students throughout the year. Congratulations to all of our award recipients — your commitment and passion do not go unnoticed!

Today’s Move-Up Ceremony was truly beautiful and executed perfectly. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who played a part in making this day so special for our Chiefs. Your support, hard work, and dedication helped create memories that will last a lifetime.

We were honored to have Mr. Chaze as our guest speaker and are grateful for the encouragement and wisdom shared with our students.

To our 8th graders — we are so proud of each and every one of you. This is only the beginning, and we are excited to watch you grow, achieve, and accomplish great things in the years ahead. Keep believing in yourselves and chasing your dreams. The future is bright! ✨

MEISLER’S ADVANCED BAND WINS SUPERIOR CONCERT AWARD AT LMEA FOR FIRST TIME IN 35 YEARS!!

Huge congratulations to Meisler’s Advanced Band for winning an award Meisler Middle School has not won for 35 years! On Wednesday, April 1st 2026 the Advanced Band performed their program of music at the Louisiana Music Educators Association Large Ensemble Festival at the University of New Orleans. The judges gave our band a Superior rating, which is the highest stage performance rating, and we won LMEA’s Superior Concert Award.

Thank you so much to the students for all of their incredibly hard work putting this performance together. I am very happy that all of our preparation, hard work, and focus payed off big time this year. This is a big win for our whole band, not just the Advanced Band. It takes a whole culture of excellence to produce results like this. I am so proud of all the students and so grateful to all of the parents for their support to make this happen.
