Please join us in welcoming Fr. Will Sigl to St. Philip Neri!

Today, we are blessed to welcome Fr. Will Sigl as he begins his ministry at St. Philip Neri following his ordination to the priesthood on May 30, 2026.

A native of Metairie, Fr. Will’s journey to the priesthood is a beautiful witness to God’s faithfulness. After first discerning a vocation as a young man, life led him down a different path, including a successful career in the insurance industry. Yet God continued to call him, and at age 50, Fr. Will answered that call, entering Notre Dame Seminary in 2020 and completing his formation in 2025.

Fr. Will shares that he is deeply grateful for the opportunity to return to St. Philip Neri and serve alongside Fr. Andrew. We are equally grateful that God has brought him to our parish family.

Please keep Fr. Will in your prayers as he begins this new chapter, and be sure to introduce yourself and give him a warm SPN welcome!

Camp Viking has a special guest this summer! ☀️ We ❤️ Seminarian Luke and are so thankful for the time he’s spending with our campers, sharing his faith and bringing lots of smiles along the way.

Tomorrow we enthrone our homes to the Sacred Heart of Jesus! ❤️

This week, our beautiful statue of the Sacred Heart was moved to its new home in the renovated prayer garden outside the Assembly Hall. As we invite Jesus to reign in our homes, we are also creating a special place on campus where our students can pray, learn, and grow closer to Jesus.

There is still more work to come, so stay tuned as our outdoor spaces continue their transformation

Camp Week 2 ✅

The smiles say it all! Another incredible week of summer fun is in the books.

This week, our campers learned about the Sacred Heart of Jesus and prepared to bring that devotion home with them. Fr. Andrew blessed special Sacred Heart images for each family, and our campers created beautiful frames to display them as they consecrate their homes to Jesus.

Faith, fun, and memories that will last long after summer ends! ❤️

This week we learned about the symbols and meaning of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, and our campers even created their own Sacred Heart “statues.”

What a beautiful way to grow in faith while having fun this summer!
