Day in the Sand! ✨✨✨
Sand can get messy, but making a mess can be FUN too!

At 3 years old, kids start forming two- to - three word sentences like ‘want cookie’ or ‘go play’!✨✨ It’s amazing to watch their language skills blossom!!
👉🏾 Surround the kids with varied vocab with music, stories, and conversations
👉🏾Use role playing and games to encourage interactions in fun environments
👉🏾Read together, discuss pictures and foster vocabulary

👉🏾 By 12-18 months kiddos can follow simple directives like “find” or “give me”

👶✨Between 10-18 months, little ones start to explore their voices by reduplicating combinations! It’s all about that playful babble as they find their rhythm.

Keep chatting with them!

Between 9-16 months old, babies start using a variety of gestures such as pointing, waving, and clapping to communicate and express themselves. Soome gestures to look for:

👉🏾 take objects from others
👉🏾 give items to share and ask for help
👉🏾 push away
👉🏾 turn head to say “no”
👉🏾 wave “bye”
👉🏾 point to show
