Today we celebrate Fr. Matthew Johnston’s 12th Anniversary of Ordination to the Priesthood!

What a beautiful way to close out the school year at our final school Mass!

We celebrated the many accomplishments of our students through our End of the Year Awards Ceremony. Awards were presented for Accelerated Reader achievements, including students with the highest percentage of their AR goals and our AR raffle winners who received $25 Chuck E. Cheese gift cards. We also recognized outstanding achievement in Religion, English/Language Arts, Math, Science, Social Studies, Media Skills, Library, Fine Arts, and Physical Education.

Special honors included the Sisters of Loreto Medals, Virtus et Veritas Award, Principal’s Medal, Pastor’s Medal, Sister Anne Kilroy Award, May Students of the Month, and the Rudy Mirandona Award presented by our Men’s Club.

We also took time to recognize members of our faculty for their years of dedicated service to St. Benilde. Congratulations to Ms. Lauren Connolly on 5 years of service and to Mrs. Kendall Garcia, Mrs. Beth Monistere, Mrs. Missy Peters, and Mrs. Melissa Williams on 10 years of service. We were also proud to honor Mrs. Melissa Williams as the recipient of the 2026 Beverly Commander Excellence in Teaching Award.

Our Men’s Club presented Mrs. Gaudet with a $10,000 check for our Exceptional Learners Program from the proceeds of their annual golf tournament. We are incredibly grateful for their continued generosity and support of our students.

Our 7th Grade Student Council Executive Board officially passed their leadership roles on to the 2026-2027 Executive Board, and all Student Council Class Representatives from 4th-7th grade were recognized for their leadership and service throughout the year.

We also said goodbye to two beloved members of our faculty, Ms. Hannah Lanoux and Ms. Judy Migliore. Thank you both for the love, dedication, and impact you have made on our students and school community. You will always be part of the St. Benilde family.

Congratulations to all of our award recipients, faculty honorees, and student leaders. As we close another wonderful school year, we are reminded of how blessed we are to be part of such a special school community.
