🍁🦃 What an AMAZING Thanksgiving Camp! 🦃🍁

Our school was bursting with excitement this week as students jumped into a full lineup of Thanksgiving-themed fun! From creating adorable turkey art, engineering STEM turkey towers, racing through Minute-to-Win-It challenges, exploring hands-on math games, getting messy with slime making, and even unwinding with Thanksgiving yoga — it was a wonderful time packed with creativity, laughter, and learning.

Seeing our campers shine, explore, and try new things made this Thanksgiving extra special. We’re so grateful for all the smiling faces that joined us! 🧡

Our students had an incredible opportunity to visit the MSY Air Traffic Control Tower. They learned how air traffic controllers keep the skies safe, watched real-time communication with pilots, and got a behind-the-scenes look at how airports operate. It was an unforgettable hands-on learning experience!

This weekend, try sprinkling in a bit of playful learning with your kiddos:
🧠 Ask fun “would you rather” questions
🎲 Play a quick game that uses counting or strategy
🎨 Let them create something and tell you the story behind it
💬 Talk with them about their day and what made them curious

You’d be surprised how much these simple interactions help build confidence, creativity, and problem-solving skills.
