🚌 The JP Schools Transportation Hotline will be available Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m., August 3 through September 4.

Families who need assistance with transportation can call (504) 349-8999 to speak with a member of our transportation team.

The Louisiana Legislature passed a law prohibiting students from using electronic telecommunication devices, including cell phones, smart watches, and other wearable technology capable of sending or receiving text messages and similar notifications, during the instructional day.

In accordance with state law and School Board Policy JCDAE, no student shall possess, on his or her person, an electronic telecommunication device throughout the instructional day, including wearable technology capable of sending or receiving text messages and other similar notifications.

Electronic devices must be turned off and stored out of sight for the entirety of the school day.
As a reminder, violations of School Board Policy JCDAE will result in progressive discipline in accordance with the JP Schools Code of Conduct as outlined in the Procedures and Policies for Parents and Students.

Today, our gatorriffic staff crossed galaxies during the team building portion of our Back to School PD. 🐊🪐🌌
