Genesians Presents: The Hamlet Thrill-ma-geddon (full-length) by Don Zolidis. A drama club turns to Shakespeare's greatest tragedy to raise cash, but it's not tickets that are going to fund this year's show: It's corporate sponsorship and mid-play commercial advertising. Who cares if Shakespeare never wrote musical numbers with back-up dancers or post-apocalyptic zombie battles? He's dead and he can't complain. Last evening, Genesian Meredith Charbonnet made her debut at the off-Broadway Triad Theater in New York City in “Bound for Broadway.” Meredith appeared on the Genesian stage as Audrey in “Little Shop of Horrors,” Donna in “Mamma Mia!,” Wendy Darling in “Peter Pan,” and Roxie Hart in “Chicago.” She is currently a second year student at the The Institute for American Musical Theatre in New York City. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
