That’s a wrap on week 1 of camp.
Today the students painted their clay projects from earlier in the week and also did a multimedia project. Campers combined the chalk paper from earlier this week, collage, drawing and model magic to make some very tasty creations. Great job everyone. We hope you had a fantastic week!!

Today campers drew a still life drawing that was a Birds Eye view of their hand and some art supplies. They finished the pieces with colored pencils and a little splash of water color paint. After lunch the students painted a canvas of their choice. One more day to go with this group!

Today at camp we did a little hydra dip with chalk. It was a fun process that the campers throughly enjoyed and every paper was unique. Some of the paper went home with campers, but we saved one for a project later this week. 😉 After snack we made an octopus and used q tips for finishing touches.

Yesterday at camp, we unleashed our creativity, drawing vibrant hermit crabs adorned with imaginative shells that showcased each student's unique flair. They used oil pastel resist and watercolor brought these creations to life. Our second project, underwater self-portraits of their eyes, sparked a lot of excitement. The campers enjoyed this project, and model magic proved to be the perfect finishing touch for the masks. Looking forward to day 3!
