🥎🌟 INCOMING 8TH GRADER MARISA SCHUBERT NOMINATED FOR SUGAR BOWL ATHLETE OF THE MONTH! 🌟🥎
We're thrilled to celebrate incoming 8th grader Marisa Schubert, who was nominated for Sugar Bowl Athlete of the Month after an outstanding July performance!
Marisa starred for the Eastbank Little League 12-and-under team, leading them to district and state championships before advancing to the Regional Championship game on ESPN.
July Stats:
• .615 batting average (8-for-13)
• 2 home runs 🚀
• 2 doubles
• 8 RBIs
• 1.231 slugging percentage
• 1.864 OPS 🔥
Marisa delivered her best performances when her All-Star team needed them most, showcasing clutch hitting and leadership behind the plate.

Chapelle Softball Camp 2026 🥎

What an incredible week at Chapelle Softball Camp! We were thrilled to welcome 95 campers this summer for a fun filled week of learning, bonding, and softball.

Our Softball Chips loved sharing their passion for the game by teaching campers the fundamentals of softball, while also emphasizing teamwork, sportsmanship, and having fun. Campers enjoyed skill instruction, team bonding activities, and learning what it means to be part of the Chapelle Softball family.

A huge thank you to all of our campers and their parents for signing them up. We can’t wait to see everyone back on the field next summer!

Congratulations to four incoming 8th graders and their teammates on an incredible summer representing Eastbank Little League on the All-Star team!

The team competed in three tournaments, winning both the District 2 Championship and the Louisiana State Championship, which earned them a trip to Waco, Texas to compete in the Little League Southwest Regional Championship. After several hard-fought days of competition, they finished as Regional Runner-Up, bringing home an impressive 2nd place finish!

We are so proud of their dedication, talent, and teamwork this summer and can’t wait to see them take the field as Chapelle softball players next year!

🏐📚 CHAPELLE VOLLEYBALL EARNS 2026 AVCA TEAM ACADEMIC AWARD! 📚🏐

We're proud to announce that our Archbishop Chapelle High School Girls Volleyball Team has earned the prestigious 2026 AVCA Team Academic Award!

This honor recognizes volleyball programs across the country that maintain a year-long grade-point average of at least 3.3 on a 4.0 scale (or 4.1 on a 5.0 scale). With 1,432 collegiate and high school programs earning this award nationwide, it reflects our athletes' commitment to excellence both in the classroom and on the court.

"It comes as no surprise to see our sport have more than 1,400 teams earn the AVCA Team Academic Award again this season," said AVCA CEO Jaime Gordon. "We are grateful for the dedication of the coaches and players who make both classroom and on-court success the lifeblood of their programs."

Our Chipmunks continue to prove that academic achievement and athletic excellence go hand in hand. We're incredibly proud of every player and coach who contributed to this outstanding accomplishment!

What an amazing weekend at LSU! Our volleyball teams participated in skill and team-based drills, player development sessions led by the LSU coaching staff and players, and capped it all off with an exciting tournament.

Under the guidance of our student coaches — Coach Kui (Varsity), Coach Ella (JV), and Coach Katie (8th Grade) — our Chipmunks showcased their growth and dedication:
