Fighting Irish in Metairie, LA Grace King High School is a public high school located in Metairie, unincorporated Jefferson Parish, Louisiana.
It is a part of the Jefferson Parish Public Schools and serves portions of Metairie and Kenner. Grace King was built in the late 1960s as a high school, opening its doors in 1968 as an all-girls public school serving Jefferson Parish; remaining so until the 1980s, when it became co-ed. Glimpses of Grace King: Today was the first of our Unity Days between Grace King and Bonnabel High School. Our juniors/rising seniors took a tour of the Bonnabel campus and began forging bonds with their new schoolmates. Tomorrow GK sophomores/rising juniors make their way to Bonnabel!

Glimpses of Grace King: Our GK hero always has a smile, a bookbag, and a willingness to help. Mr. Flannery's official listing is substitute teacher; however, we know that he truly is a cherished GK Guardian of the KINGdom. All of his salary is used to fund scholarships to the graduating class. This year Mr. Flannery awarded thirteen seniors with scholarships. We are forever grateful to Mr. Flannery.
