What a great first day! We are so excited to have our students back on campus and can’t wait for an amazing school year together. Thank you to our families, faculty, and staff for helping make the first day a success. Welcome back, Beavers!

Today is the first day of school for our 1st-8th grade students, and we are excited to welcome everyone back to campus!

As you arrive this morning, please remember to follow our morning drop-off and afternoon carpool procedures when entering the school zone. Your patience and cooperation help keep our students, families, and staff safe as we kick off a wonderful school year.

As a reminder, there is no aftercare today. Aftercare will begin on Monday, August 10.

Tomorrow is the first day of school for the 2026–2027 school year! We are excited to welcome our students back to campus.

Over the past few weeks, we’ve shared important reminders to help ensure a smooth start to the school year. As a final reminder, please review our arrival and dismissal carpool map and follow all traffic procedures.

For the safety of our students, staff, and families:

* Follow the designated carpool route.
* Absolutely no U-turns on Kawanee Avenue.
* If you choose not to use the carpool line, please do not park in front of the school, in the parking areas along the front or side of the school, in front of the fire station, or in the St. Philip parking lot for student drop-off or pick-up. While these locations may seem more convenient, they cannot safely accommodate Bissonet student arrival and dismissal.

Your patience and cooperation help us keep traffic moving efficiently and, most importantly, keep our students safe.

🕡 Before Care: Begins at 6:45 a.m.
🕕 After Care: Available until 6:00 p.m.

Please Note: There will be NO childcare this Friday. Our Before & After School Care program begins Monday, August 10.

Registration forms may be:
✔️ Dropped off at Meet & Greet on Wednesday, or
✔️ Sent to school with your child on Friday.

We look forward to caring for your child before, during and after the school day!

*To participate in the program, students must be registered for childcare. We strongly encourage families of car riders to register for After Care if there is any possibility they may be delayed at dismissal. Carpool pickup ends promptly at 3:05 p.m., and all car riders must be picked up by that time. Registering your child for After Care ensures they have a safe, supervised place to remain if an unexpected delay occurs.
