Christina Perez is an ESL support professional at Harold Keller Elementary School whose personal journey has inspired her passion for helping multilingual learners succeed. A former ESL student herself, Christina understands the importance of having someone who can make students feel seen, heard, and supported as they learn a new language.

Working primarily with kindergarten students, Christina provides one on one support that helps students build confidence, develop social and emotional skills, and navigate the school day. One of her favorite moments is seeing students recognize that someone at school speaks their language, creating an immediate sense of comfort and belonging.

Christina enjoys building meaningful relationships with students and meeting them where they are, helping each child grow at their own pace. She believes the individualized support she provides allows students to gain confidence while developing the skills they need to be successful.

What Christina values most about Harold Keller Elementary is its strong sense of community. She appreciates the collaborative culture created by the school's leadership and staff, where everyone works together to support students and one another.
