Children learn so much through play! Before school even starts, we’re learning how to take turns, work together, and plan strategies to win. No wonder our Bears love coming to school!

🎉 We are excited to share that 12 JP Schools have been recognized by the state of Louisiana as Certified Language Immersion Schools for meeting rigorous state standards in providing effective bilingual education! 🌎

Our dual language immersion programs help students develop proficiency in a second language while building strong foundations in language arts, mathematics, science, and social studies. These programs also foster a deeper appreciation for Louisiana’s rich culture and cultures from around the world.

Huge congratulations to the 5th graders for bringing home that 3rd place trophy in the Waltz, that’s no small feat! And the 4th graders showed up and showed out too… those boots made quite the statement 😄
Moments like that stick with kids for a long time, confidence, teamwork, and a little sparkle on the dance floor. Well done to all of them! 💃🕺

Our Birney Bears had an amazing time celebrating at their PBIS party Friday! 🐻🎉

These students worked so hard showing positive behavior, kindness, and responsibility—and today was all about celebrating their success. From smiles and laughter to fun activities, it was a well-deserved reward for our incredible Bears.

We are so proud of each and every one of you for making great choices every day. Keep up the awesome work, Birney Bears! 💙💚
