Check out some automatons that Lutheran High School's future engineers designed for their end-of-year project! Students in Mr. Ferguson's Engineering II class designed automatons to mimic realistic actions as a form of entertainment. Great job, Gryphons!

Our NOLA Arts Club students, led by Mrs. Lagarde and Mrs. Hansen, recently dove headfirst into the vibrant, immersive world of JAMNOLA! This incredible cultural excursion was made possible by our amazing community through this year's Gala "Gryphon Wish" funding. We capped off a fabulous day of art appreciation by dodging the raindrops and fueling up on Café Du Monde beignets. Endless gratitude to everyone who supported the Gala—you are directly inspiring the next generation of local artists!

Our junior class gathered for the annual Junior Ring Ceremony held at First English Lutheran Church. This special tradition marks their transition into the school leaders and rising seniors of Lutheran High School.
Surrounded by family, friends, and faculty, students received their class rings and certificates—symbols of their hard work, dedication, and the lasting bond they share with the Lutheran High family. A special thank you to Reverend Aubrey Watson, Jr., Holy Cross Lutheran Church, for blessing the rings and sharing an inspiring message about leadership, faith, and unity. Thank you to the LHS Choir for sharing their vocal talents. As always, thank you to First English Church for sharing their beautiful facility with us. After the ceremony, the Class of 2027 and their families celebrated with light refreshments provided by the school.
We are so incredibly proud of these students and can’t wait to see how God uses their leadership to impact our campus next year!

On Saturday, May 16th, the Lutheran High School community gathered at the Williams Boulevard Baptist Church in joyful celebration to welcome its newest alumni at their Commencement Ceremony. The morning was highlighted by inspiring addresses from both distinguished alumni and outstanding student leaders: Mr. Tyrone Tedesco, Class of 1979, delivered the graduation address. He reminded the graduates that a small school does not mean a small future, encouraging them to leverage the close-knit foundation they built at Lutheran High to serve as a powerful launching pad for greatness. Miss Audria Kleyle took the stage to deliver the salutatorian address, reflecting on the shared memories, challenges overcome, and the tight bonds formed by the Class of 2026. In her valedictory address, Miss Frimpoma Anim beautifully compared the graduating class to a puzzle, observing that by weaving their lives together, they had "made such a meaningful impact on each other and created a beautiful picture." Drawing strength from the class Bible verse, Jeremiah 29:11, she left her peers with a powerful reminder of faith and purpose, concluding: "The Lord has a plan for every single one of us, and I can't wait to see the outcome!"
Congratulations to the spectacular Class of 2026! We are incredibly proud of all you have accomplished, and we cannot wait to see how you change the world. Once a Gryphon, always a Gryphon!

As graduation drew near, the seniors marked major milestones, pausing to reflect on their journey together. They gathered with the student body for Senior Chapel to hear an inspiring message from Mr. Scriber, and later came together for the Baccalaureate ceremony, where Pastor Nare shared a heartfelt message about faith and the future. Afterward, the atmosphere turned celebratory as the seniors were honored for their diverse talents and achievements, receiving academic, athletic, "Senior Favorites," and various other awards that highlighted the unique impact of the Class of 2026. Congratulations, Gryphons!
