This student is working on a push pin (pricking) activity of North America. This is a practical life exercise designed to develop fine motor skills and concentration. The friends love this work and choose it often.

At Kinder Haus, the outdoors is our classroom. We believe fresh air, sunshine, and hands-on experiences spark the best learning. Our children spend a lot of time outside each day, engaging in thoughtful activities that nurture curiosity, collaboration, and confidence. With our very own school garden, children plant, tend, and harvest together—discovering where food comes from. Our garden is even a certified butterfly sanctuary. this allows the children to see the life cycle of a butterfly first hand. We truly believe in the importance of building a lifelong connection to nature.

At Kinder Haus Montessori, we believe every child is naturally curious and capable. We love watching our students express themselves—whether through the way they dress, the art they create, or the work they do with friends. Our approach nurtures self-direction, creativity, and self-expression, while celebrating each child’s individuality. Getting to know the unique personality of every child in our care is one of the greatest joys of our work.

After two years at home during the pandemic, I worried how my daughter would adjust to school. Starting Kinder Haus Montessori at age two has been such a gift—she’s blossomed with confidence, independence, and joy. The teachers’ warmth and care made the transition so positive. Having the opportunity to "phase in" with her really put me at ease. Attending school with her for those first few days allowed me to get to know her teachers and classmates. When it came time to enroll my son in preschool, I was so excited for him to experience the joy and love of learning at Kinder Haus. We feel so grateful to be part of this community. We have met families that i know will be lifelong friends. Our parenting journey would not have been the same without the guidance of the nurturing staff who have given us the best advice. We feel so lucky to be a part of this "Haus”
