SUMMER MUSIC CAMP INFO!

Dear Parents,

We are excited to announce the 2024 Crescent City String Camp & Festival this summer! We want to share information about our 4th annual summer camp and festival, and give you some insight into what this experience will entail. We hope that you and your children will join us this summer!

The Krewe of Strings camp includes daily chamber rehearsals, group technique class, fun and interactive daily music activities in theory, improvisation, sight reading, composition, music history, and ear training, as well as interdisciplinary art, culture classes, and recreational activities. It will also include masterclasses with guest artists, a faculty concert, and a field trip during the second week of camp! The camp will culminate with a final performance including all participants and faculty.

The Krewe of String Camp will run Monday-Friday from June 3-14 2024 from 10am to 3pm, with a final performance on Saturday, June 15, in the morning (TBD).
Two other camp divisions are also offered: Twinkle Camp for students new to string instruments (from 10 am to noon), and Young Artists, for motivated high school students (from 1 pm to 3 pm).
