Happy Sunday Mesquite!

Quick news!

With the new school hours we will be consolidating our class into one class at 4PM. It’s still every other Friday but it’s one class instead of two small ones. This is being done because the high school students don’t get off school until around 2:35/2:45 so they would not be able to make it for the 2:00PM class.

Now the fun part:

*We are actively working on electrical panel building.

*We are currently online with a PLC and diving into PLC programming.

*We have multiple production line systems that will be designed and implemented by the students.

The students learn de fundamental, intermediate and some advanced concepts of electrical controls automation that they can take with them and use them for the rest of their life, that being through college, trade school, own business or workforce.

If you are a parent with a student that is interested in the engineering field, this is the perfect place for him. We meet every other Friday at the local 4H Clover Club next door to the STEAM Center in Mesquite Blv.

New solid/pellet filling machine and new liquid filling machine for the students to learn production line controls integration.

The 4H Clover at the Mesquite STEAM Center bought this new equipment so that our students can learn the tech side of how all this products that you see every day are made. They are learning the ins and outs of manufacturing technology and how to control and automate processes.

Career roles rooted in this are:

Controls Tech
Automation Engineer
Manufacturing Engineering
SCADA Engineer
Electrical Controls Specialist
Robotics Specialist
And many more…

All high demand professions that fuel the economy of our country. A country that cannot produce and export, is bound to depend on a country that does, and for that reason this professionals silently play a huge role in the sovereignty and economy of our country.

Gearing up for our panel building training!

The 4H Clover Club dedicated funds to buy equipment for the Electrical Controls Automation class. We also got a donation from Primex in Mesquite. We are so grateful for everyone involved in helping these students learn and be successful.

This phase of training will teach the students how to design and wire control panels up to code, separate control voltages from loads and after the panels are built, integrate each panel with its distinct function into a broader system.

Mesquite has a young wave of talent that will be ready for the industrial expansion.
