Students in Ms. Markham’s class were challenged with building some cardboard reading forts that kids on campus would enjoy using in the library. These students loved using the Makeadoo cardboard screws and tools.

Summer Reading fun will begin on Monday! Students will be able to access it through the ReadSquared app on the district portal (classlink).

Mesquite Reads is a community wide program formed in partnership between Mesquite ISD Library Services, the MISD ELAR Department, the Mesquite Public Libraries, and the Balch Springs Public Library in order to build a culture of reading in Mesquite.
