The varsity football team took care of business, defeating the Everman Bulldogs 62-35. Congratulations Pirates!🏴‍☠️💚

There were also great performances from the Poteet Army JROTC, Poteet Pirate Band, Poteet Varsity Belles and Pirate spirit spread throughout by the Poteet Pirate Cheer.

Today was packed with Pirate spirit as we kicked off our first mini pep rally of the year! The Commons was rocking, the energy was high, and everyone was getting ready to cheer on our Pirates tonight! 🏈💚

And it’s Bikers vs. Surfers Day! 🏍️🏄‍♂️ Our students showed up in style and brought the spirit all day long!

A HUGE shoutout to our Student Council for spreading even more school spirit by painting faces during lunch! 🎨💚

Today, our Mexican American Studies and Culinary Arts classes teamed up for some hands-on cross-curricular learning by making homemade tortillas!

Students connected culture, history, and culinary skills while learning from one another—and enjoying the delicious results! What a great example of learning coming to life. 👏

The Class of 2027 officially started their senior year with smiles, memories, and a beautiful sunrise! 🌅✨

From creating their own picture backdrops 📸 and leaving their handprints ✋ to enjoying donuts 🍩 and spending time with friends, our seniors made the morning their own!

Lots of smiles, lots of memories, and one special morning to kick off a BIG year. 🎓💚
