Big initiatives and big impact are ahead for Florence Black Elementary!
The Calm Down Den Campus Grant will enhance student learning through our Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) program, with the goal of positively impacting key areas identified in our Panorama data. Grant funds will be used to create a dedicated “Calm Down Den” on our campus.
The You Belong Here House System Innovation Grant will provide lasting resources to sustain and grow their House System for years to come. By investing in durable materials, incentives, and resources, this grant will ensure that the House System continues to foster a sense of belonging, student engagement, and a positive school culture well into the future.

David Belt attended Agnew as a middle schooler and cares deeply about MISD and has served on the Education Foundation Board of Directors since it's inception in 2004. We are excirted to support two great program at Agnew Middle School next year!
The Every Day Counts Innovation Grant will implement a comprehensive attendance growth initiative designed to increase daily student attendance through incentives, engagement, and school-wide culture systems. Grant funds will be used to enhance and align attendance efforts with existing programs and behavior incentive structures.
Their Campus Grant, The Elite, recognizes a prestigious group of students for their exceptional character and commitment to excellence. Each year, staff members carefully select one student who exemplifies the ELITE criteria. ELITE students consistently demonstrate respect, hard work, kindness, attentiveness, responsibility, humility, honesty, and dependability.

Mary Moss Elementary is stepping up their focus on building a positive school culture through the Strengthening Belonging Through Inclusive Community Building Innovation Grant!
The grant will implement targeted initiatives to strengthen family engagement, improve communication systems, and foster a cohesive school culture centered on student success and well-being.

Special thanks to our friends and Community Partner Lee Lewis Construction for choosing to sponsor the Engineering Curiosity Innovation Grant at Wilkinson Middle School this year. This program will transform the library into a dynmic STEM makerspace.

Big things are happening at Wilkinson Middle School and we can't wait for these programs to impact students next year!
The Real Life Learning in the CTE Classroom Innovation Grant will purchase RealCare Baby 4 Infant Simulators and supporting materials. This includes eight lifelike baby simulators, sensored diapers, student IDs, and infant care supplies, along with 2 CPR manikins - a child and an infant manikin - to expand instruction on safety and health.
The Wildcast Closet Innovation Grant will establish and sustain a school-based clothes closet that supports students providing access to clean, school appropriate clothing and essential hygiene items. This initiative is designed to remove barriers to learning, increase student confidence, and promote consistent school attendance.
The Engineering Curiosity Innvovation grant will transform the Middle School Library into a dynamic STEM Makerspace. As the one instructional space accessed by all students, the library is uniquely positioned to ensure that meaningful STEM experiences are available to every learner.

We are so honored to support the Miles Tha Matter Campus Grant at Tisinger Elementary this year!!
This is the campus running program, that aligns with the district's Feet Across Mesquite program. Funds will be used to purchase toe tokens, necklaces, and related incentive materialsto be used to recognize and reward students as they reach specific mileage milestones throughout the year. The program promotes goal-setting, perseverance, and personal growth for Tisinger studetns.

Congratulations to the Dr. Ralph H. Poteet High School Pirates! We are honored to support Pirate Give Day again this year!
Pirate Give Day is a Campus Grant that takes place on the Friday before Thanksgiving breakproviding the entire student body with opportunities to SERVE within the campus, feeder schools, and community to give back in a special way. The grant funds will be used to increase student participation and supporting larger, more impactful community service projects on Give Day.

Congratulations Beasley Elementary School! We cannot wait to hear more about how the Literacy On The Go Campus Grant impacted students on your campus!
The grant will provide literacy resources for families to use at home to support their students' reading and writing development, including hands-on activities, reading strategies, and resources aligned with grade-level skills. In addition, Beasley will host family literacy meetings every other month on campus where parents and guardians will learn practical strategies for supporting literacy at home.

Georgia Kimball Elementary is investing in mentorship on their campus, through the Might Mentors, Meaningful Moments Campus Grant!
This grant will fund the transformation of an existing classroom into a dedicated Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) space where Mighty mentors and mentees can meet regularly in a safe, welcoming, and supportive environment. The space will be intentionally designed to foster meaningful conversations, relationship-building, and emotional growth aligned with the LET initiative, Leadership and Empowerment Team.
