Hi, I am Miss Ashley I have been teaching preschool for 7 years. I focus on both academic and social skills. In the classroom games, music, movement, and hands on activities are used to teach. Being involved in what is being taught is essential. Because when children are playing and having fun they are much more likely to retain the information being taught. :)
I strive to have my students re
ading by the end of the year. To help accomplish this goal I use the Utah Core Curriculum guidelines along with the Amazing Action Alphabet. Each day students will have a phonics, math, and science/social studies lesson. To communicate with parents I send out a monthly calendar. I also have social media pages that I post to weekly for parents to see classroom activities. I can promise you that your child will be completely ready for kindergarten if you choose to have them attend Busy Bee Academy Preschool.
