Hi everyone! This year PTO will be helping organize and run Field Day 🎉

We are in need of volunteers to help plan and/or run activity stations. Field Day will take place on the last day of school from 8:30–11:30/12:00, and we would love your help!

We are aiming to run about 20 stations to keep groups small and fun—so we need quite a few helpers.

If you’re available to volunteer, please let us know!

It’s time to Round Up our Future Kindergartners!

Virgin Valley ES will have a Kindergarten Round-Up on Tuesday, April 28th from 8am - 4pm. This will be by appointment only. Use the attached link to register the student. The student MUST BE 5 years old on or before, August 1st 2026.

At the round up, our kindergarten teachers will take 20 minutes to do a basic screening such as saying their ABC’s, 123’s, shapes, cutting, etc.

Parent will also be able to register their child for the upcoming school year! Bring with you on this day birth certificate/passport, parent/guardian photo i.d., proof of address, and vaccination records (if available).

¡Es hora de reunir a nuestros futuros alumnos de kínder!

La escuela Primaria Virgin Valley (Virgin Valley ES) llevará a cabo una jornada de inscripción para kínder el martes 28 de abril, de 8:00 a.m.- 4:00 p.m. La asistencia será únicamente con cita previa. Utilice el enlace adjunto para registrar al estudiante. El estudiante DEBE tener 5 años de edad cumplidos a más tardar el 1.º de agosto de 2026.

Durante esta jornada, nuestros maestros de kínder dedicarán 20 minutos a realizar una evaluación básica, la cual incluirá actividades como recitar el abecedario y los números, identificar figuras geométricas, recortar, etc.

¡Los padres también podrán inscribir a sus hijos para el próximo año escolar! El día de la cita, por favor traiga consigo el certificado de nacimiento o pasaporte del niño, una identificación oficial con fotografía del padre o tutor, un comprobante de domicilio y el registro de vacunación (si lo tiene disponible).

We had a great walk a thon today! The kids did great and seemed to have a blast. Just a reminder.....there is still time to donate and share our fundraiser. Let's give it one last boost before donations close. Some updates from this morning are below.
Unfortunately, our shirts got delayed in shipping so we will pass them out Monday. We are excited to get every student a new green bulldog shirt and are sorry for the delay.

We are so excited to share that we already have gotten donations from 13 different states and for the first time have gotten a donation from a different country!!! That's amazing.

Update:
Tuesday, we had our Kick-Off assembly and had 34 students registered. We are now at 120 students registered, as of 8am today. More raffles will be held when we get to 200 students registered.

We are at 25% of our goal.

Our first 6 SUPERSTARS won a bonus prize of a Lego set.

We currently have 27 students registered for the walk a thon and entered into the raffle tomorrow! We need 3 more students registered to be able to have 2 winners in the raffle.
