Our Academic Decathlon students are putting economics into action by applying transportation concepts to their fictional cities. Through creativity, collaboration, and critical thinking, they’re building a deeper understanding of economics as they prepare to master this year’s competition! 🏙️🚗📈

Ms. Thomas’s class participated in Friday’s The Huddle, called “This or That!” It was a fun way for students to engage, share their choices, and enjoy some friendly interaction together!

It is once again time for a blood drive! It will be held on Thursday September 3rd from 9am to 2pm. Time slots are full, but you can see Mrs. Clay about getting added to the list in case someone is a no show or is unable to donate. If you are 16 and would like to give, please come get a parent consent form from B118/Ms. Clays' room before the blood drive. This form is to be brought back on the 3rd and given to the nurses on the bus. If you are 17 you DO NOT need a form however please let your parents know that you plan to donate. Donors, please understand that if you sign up you need to eat a meal before donating. If you have any questions please feel free to contact Ms. Clay.

Today Vanguard staff celebrated the life of Dolly Parton, a woman who used her wealth to give back to others with scholarships, kindness, and education through the Imagination Library. Today we wore rhinestones, pink, western wear, and a smile! We will always love you!
