Learning centers are an important part of early childhood education because they give scholars opportunities to learn through exploration, hands-on experiences, collaboration, and purposeful play.
Our Private Kindergarten classroom is intentionally set up each morning to support Early Morning Literacy. As scholars arrive, they are welcomed into learning centers that strengthen foundational reading and writing skills through letter recognition, phonics, sight words, vocabulary, writing, books, and other literacy-rich activities.
This structured start to the day allows scholars to immediately engage their minds, practice skills independently and in small groups, and build the strong literacy foundation needed for kindergarten success and beyond. At Children’s Safari Private School, every part of the classroom is designed to be a place for learning.
