The PMOPA Safety & Education Foundation is accepting applications through July 15 for its 2026 Maintenance Scholarship, designed to support both aspiring and current aviation maintenance professionals committed to the Piper M-Class community. Open to students in A&P programs, apprenticeship candidates, and working technicians, the scholarship provides up to $5,000 in financial assistance for tuition, testing, and advanced training such as avionics or engine programs. Recipients will commit to two years in the PMOPA maintenance community and attend the PMOPA Convention during that time, with related expenses covered. Maintenance facility representatives should complete the application and attach a detailed personal statement from the scholarship candidate, along with a letter of reference to be considered for a scholarship award.
