Our kindergarteners have been learning all about community helpers this week, and it has been a blast!

From a firefighter and pilot to a veterinarian, nurse, dentist, plumber, and so much more, our students have been discovering all the important people who help make our community a wonderful place to live.

We’ve loved watching their excitement as they learn about different careers and the important jobs these community helpers do every day. Our kindergarteners are already dreaming big about how they can make a difference in their own communities someday!

🎭 Learning the Stage—Hands On!

Our middle school Drama students had fun building their own miniature stages while learning about the different parts of a stage and how they are used. It was a hands-on activity that brought the vocabulary and concepts to life! Thanks, Mrs. Ray!

Mr. Ramsey’s 7th Grade Art students stepped back in time to explore prehistoric art! They created their own paints using natural materials and then put them to work creating artwork inspired by early humans. This was such a fun way for them to learn about history through art!

Yesterday, we had the privilege of welcoming members of our Edkey leadership team into our classrooms—not as visitors, but as volunteers.

There was something truly special about seeing our upper administration get back to their roots, working alongside students and teachers, offering their support, and reconnecting with the everyday moments that make education so meaningful. Their willingness to serve is a wonderful reminder that great leadership starts with supporting others.
