What does goal alignment look like?
One of the biggest challenges families face is knowing how to support skills at home without adding more worksheets, homework, or stress.
This is a real example of how I take a child's IEP goals, therapy goals, counseling goals, and family priorities and turn them into simple, play-based activities that fit naturally into everyday life.
✔️ Reading goals become games in the grocery store.
✔️ Math goals become snack-time conversations.
✔️ Writing goals become hands-on sensory activities.
✔️ Language and social skills become fun family interactions.
The goal isn't more work, it's creating meaningful opportunities to practice skills through connection, play, and daily routines.
Most activities take just 5–15 minutes a day and can be done with items you already have at home.
When home, school, and therapy goals work together, children get more consistent practice, greater confidence, and stronger progress across environments.
Connection first. Learning follows.

☀️ Keep the Progress, Lose the Stress! ☀️
Is the "Summer Slide" weighing on your mind?
We know that summer break is for popsicle stains and pool days, but for children with IEPs or outside therapy goals, three months away from a routine can feel like a lifetime. You want to keep those hard-earned gains, but you don't want to turn your summer into a second school year.
That’s where I come in.
I specialize in translating complex clinical goals into fun, bite-sized home activities that actually fit into your family's life.
📋 How It Works:
Send me the goals: You provide your child’s current IEP or private therapy objectives (OT, PT, Speech, etc.).
I build the blueprint: I create a custom "Summer Success" document tailored specifically to your child’s interests and abilities.
Real-world activities: Every activity is designed to take between 5 to 30 minutes. Whether it’s a sensory game at the park or a fine-motor craft during a rainy afternoon, these are easy to start and easy to finish!
✨ Why Families Love This:
Zero Prep: No more scouring Pinterest for ideas that might not even work.
Consistency: Keep those neural pathways firing so the transition back to school in the fall is a breeze.
Flexible: Designed to be done in pajamas, in the backyard, or on a road trip.
Don't let the progress melt away with the summer heat!
DM me or comment "SUMMER" below to grab your spot. Let’s make this summer both productive and playful!

Thinking about touring a school? Earlier is better, here’s why....
Waiting too long to schedule school tours can quietly limit your options. Touring earlier rather than later gives you the chance to:
1. Ask thoughtful, specific questions
2. See the school in action, not just the polished version
3. Observe classroom culture, transitions, and student engagement
4. Notice how adults speak to children (this matters more than the brochure)
And here’s the part families often skip, preparation.
If you’re walking into a school, walk in with a plan.
Bring a question document, pick and choose what actually aligns with your family’s needs, and don’t feel pressured to ask everything all at once.
Not every “great” school is a great fit and that’s okay.
Pro tip:
Data + observation + your gut = your best decision-making combo.
If something feels off, pause. If something feels right, notice why.
Tours aren’t about being impressed.
They’re about being informed.
Trust yourself, you know your child best.
Need a questions document for your tour...

✨ Supporting Families Through the 504 & IEP Journey ✨
Navigating the 504 and IEP process can feel overwhelming, confusing, and honestly, at times lonely. I know that feeling because I don’t just support families through this work… I live it too.
I am:
• A parent navigating these systems for my own child
• A former educator
• A school administrator who has sat on the other side of the table
That means when I sit at an IEP or 504 meeting with families, I bring both perspectives: the family lens and the school lens. I understand timelines, compliance, language, and systems… but I also understand emotions, exhaustion, and the need to be heard.
I believe collaboration matters but so does advocacy.
And I am not afraid to ask “why not?” when something could be in the best interest of the child.
My role is to help families:
✔ Understand their rights
✔ Prepare for meetings with clarity and confidence
✔ Ask informed, meaningful questions
✔ Ensure supports are actually implemented, not just written
✔ Feel empowered, not intimidated, at the table
You don’t have to do this alone.
You deserve someone who understands both sides and always centers the child.
If you’re navigating a 504 or IEP and need guidance, clarity, or support, my door is open. Message me for more information or set up a FREE 30-minute consult!
