Are you or your student in need of transportation to EVIT in the upcoming school year?

While district transportation is currently uncertain in some districts, there are other transportation options that parents and students may want to consider - including a carpool group that was created on Facebook!

It was a week to remember at Salt River Fields as we celebrated the EVIT Class of 2026.

This year, EVIT recognized the accomplishments of 4,500 students — a record number of completers — as they walked across the stage and celebrated the next step in their journey.

The ceremonies also included a special milestone: EVIT’s first Adult Basic Education students were recognized on stage. Many of these students completed High School Equivalency prep to obtain their GED while also attending an EVIT career training program, showing what is possible with determination, support and a clear path forward.

Watch as the next generation of skilled professionals steps confidently into the future — prepared, proud and career-ready.

The EVIT Foundation would like to thank Desert Financial Credit Union for their continued support of EVIT students.

Community partners like Desert Financial help provide scholarships that allow students to complete career training and enter the workforce prepared.

Two health students were recognized as Students of the Month during the most recent Governing Board Meeting.

Faith Owens is in our Intro to Physical Therapy Assistant program at the Main Campus with plans to become a Physical Therapist after high school. Her instructor describes her as a dedicated student who exudes professionalism in everything she does.

Daisy Tiscareno is in our Intro to Medical Assisting program at the Power Campus with plans to continue her studies in the medical field. Her instructor admired her strong work ethic and the passion and determination towards her goals.

Students attending EVIT for the 2026-27 school year were able to pay their class fees in advance and pick up their supplies!

Returning Student OFI Days were hosted at Main and Power Campuses over the last couple of weeks to help prepare students for the upcoming school year.

If your student is returning to EVIT next year and missed picking up their supplies, they can attend OFI Days during the summer.
