Serving Mesa and Gilbert families with Sound Beginnings (ages 0-4), Let’s Play Music (ages 4-6), and Presto (ages 7-12). I teach piano classes for ages 7-12 and 4-6, and music classes for ages 0-4. In the Let's Play Music programs, we know that children learn most effectively through play! and that a child has to be physically involved in the learning process, so we use the eyes, ears, hands, and full body movement to learn concepts usually taught on paper. -We also know that children enjoy learning in a peer group setting. -The synergy of a Let’s Play Music class naturally encourages children to participate and to excel. Your child will learn advanced concepts and skills using age-appropriate methods!

Fun Group Piano lessons for ages 7-12. Come try out a class and see if it's a good fit!

I love helping older beginners discover that they can learn piano, and I know that ages 7–12 thrive when music feels logical, creative, and confidence‑building.
Some parents worry their child is starting “late,” or that piano lessons will feel frustrating, boring, or too rigid for this age.

My Presto classes give children a fast‑paced, playful, and deeply musical path—combining theory, ear training, chords, and real piano skills in a way that helps them progress quickly and feel proud of what they can do.
