I remember the first talk I gave in sacrament meeting. I was 13 years old and it was a talk about Thanksgiving. I worked hard on the talk but I didn't feel like I delivered it very well. As I walked sadly to see my parents after the closing prayer I was stopped by an older gentleman in the ward. He was actually our stake patriarch. [ 667 more words. ]
