Young also teaches voice, singing, music theory and conducting in two music studios. Young has conducted bell, youth and children’s choirs as a full time professional Staff Member in the United Methodist Church. He is a certified teacher and a certified college professor teaching at: Rio Salado Community College, Mesa Community College, Vanderbilt University and Ohio State University. He is a certified teacher of the national Scott Huston PBS Creative Piano/Keyboard Technique also known as the creative and lightning fast piano teaching technique. And because I preach this Good News, I am suffering and have been chained like a criminal. But the word of God cannot be chained.

Chained but Not Bound
Because the apostle Paul was sharing the good news and helping other people, he was put in prison. The closer he got to his destiny, the more obstacles he faced. He was alone in a dungeon. It looked as though God had forgotten him. But Paul didn’t feel sorry for himself. Since he couldn’t go out and speak publicly, he thought, “No problem. I’ll start writing.” He wrote nearly half of the books of the New Testament, much of it from a prison cell. Even though he was in chains, his enemies couldn’t stop what God wanted him to do. They thought they were stopping him, but they caused his voice to become amplified. Some two thousand years later, and we still feel Paul’s influence. What they meant for harm, God used for good.

Bottom line is this: No person can stand against our God. No bad break can keep you from your destiny. Right in the midst of difficulties, you can shine, be a bright light, and have God’s favor as Paul did.
