We are an affiliate of the National Communication Association (NCA), headquartered in Washington, D.C.

Happy summer break,

Hello Everyone!
We wanted to say thank you to everyone who contributed to our Dr. Seuss Birthday Party at Sequoia Chartered School Elementary on March 31st. The Children enjoyed every minute and it's all thanks to you! Here are some photos captured during our preparation and more from the day of the event. Hello friends,
I hope you all had a well deserved Spring Break and are ready to finish this semester strong! We wanted to tell you about an upcoming event we are hosting on March 31st and we are in need of some volunteers. We are putting on a fun Birthday Party in honor of Dr. Seuss for the children at Sequoia Chartered School Elementary (a school for homeless and underprivileged children). We will provide games and activities for the kids and yes, even be serving cake! If this sounds like something you'd be interested in, please go to the link below where you can then sign up to volunteer.

This event does also count as an honors co-curricular for those of you who are looking for a fun volunteer project to participate in.

To help create awareness for our veteran community, we are supporting This Little Doggie Stayed Home's (TLDSH) wonderful "22 Veterans, 22 Canines, 1 Purpose" event happening this Sunday, September 11. If you are a veteran or if you know a veteran who would like a completely FREE dog obedience training session with Lindsey Westcott (owner of TLDSH and amazing dog trainer), please contact her at [email protected]. Dear Friends,

Hello! On Friday, April 1, 2016 from 10 AM -11 AM, we will be holding a charity event for Children First Academy (a school for homeless and underprivileged children) to celebrate Dr. Seuss' birthday. In support of this event, we are conducting a one-week college wide book drive to benefit the children. We are also in need of volunteers who are available to help on that day (This project is approved as an honors co-curricular as well as service learning).

Please make a difference by donating children's books (new or gently used), toothpaste/toothbrush kits or by volunteering your time. If you would like to be included in our planning group (via Google Docs), please kindly respond to this e-mail or call 480-654-7792. We would also really appreciate your help to spread the word (please feel free to print or post attached flyer). Thank you so much!

I hope that you had a wonderful spring break and that everybody is rested and prepared for the last few weeks of the semester.

I would like to invite you to join us in attending our general meeting which is on Wednesday, March 23rd, from 3:00 pm-4:00 pm at the MCC Red Mountain Campus. The meeting will be held in the Student Life and Leadership conference room which is in the Mesquite Building in room 210. We will be discussing our Dr Seuss event which is coming up on April 1st.

Hello Friends,

You are cordially invited to join us for our general meeting on Wednesday, March 2 from
3:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. in the Student Life and Leadership conference room (Mesquite Bldg. 210, MCC Red Mountain campus). There will be pizza, fun activities, and a discussion/planning session on our upcoming events! Please feel free to bring a friend.

As a gentle reminder, our upcoming events this semester include "Under the Sea" Red Mountain Madness on Wednesday, March 9 at 10:00 AM. Next, we will be conducting our second Dr. Seuss' Birthday Celebration with Children's First Academy ( a school for homeless and underprivileged children) on Friday, April 1. This semester also marks our 9th annual induction with a formal ceremony held at the end of April. Details on how to get inducted in to our nationally award winning chapter will be shared soon.
