Sequoia Pathfinder Academy at Eastmark K-6th grade Sequoia Pathfinder Academy at Eastmark is a STEAM focused school. Recently, students explored the use of gears, magnets, and circuits.

Sequoia Pathfinder Academy at Eastmark, a tuition free public charter school located on Eastmark Parkway just north of Ray Road, is enrolling K-6 students for the 2021-22 school year! Our STEAM focus dual-language school offers students in all grade levels an opportunity to learn about science, technology, engineering, and math, as well as the arts. They have built rollercoasters and have competed

in robotics competitions. Students attend art classes where they explore the use of different art concepts and media including print making, pottery, and watercolors. Music classes build students' knowledge of sound, pitch, and rhythm. We partner with Bonanza Educational, the Arizona Science Center, and other organizations to provide additional STEAM experiences throughout the year. When it comes to academics, our state-of-the-art campus features a proven approach to teaching and learning that integrates the content and skills of STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics). Programs emphasize learning behaviors that include engagement in inquiry, logical reasoning, collaboration, and investigation. In addition, free all day kindergarten, music and art classes, and after school programs are offered. Interactive learning resources and demonstrations are built into the common areas and learning boulevards (hallways) throughout the school. All eighteen classrooms have additional learning space to allow for small group activities and exploration of skills and concepts. Students also enjoy a new cafeteria and the National School Lunch Program will be offered. An outdoor interactive learning playground helps students make connections to learning and see the relevance on a day to day basis. Leveled reading materials are freely.offeref in spaces throughout the school. Technology is available in the student common areas and in classrooms. A multi-purpose room for PE, lunch, performances, school-wide events and events open to the public will be a focal point of the campus. Parent involvement plays a vital role in school programs and culture. Enrollment is currently underway for the 2021-22 school year. Space is limited.
